A Note in Plain Language

Hidden House is built on intention, not volume. If something you purchased doesn’t arrive, doesn’t function, or isn’t what was promised, we will make it right.

At the same time, many of our offerings—especially digital or experiential—are designed to be received, not returned. This policy reflects both fairness and respect for the nature of the work.

1. Physical Products (Books & Merchandise)

If you purchase a physical item and it arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you may request a replacement or refund within 14 days of delivery.

To request this, please contact us with:

  • Your order details

  • A description of the issue

  • Photo evidence if applicable

If your return is approved, we will provide instructions for replacement or refund.

We do not accept returns for:

  • Items damaged after delivery

  • General dissatisfaction once the item has been used

2. Digital Products (eBooks, PDFs, Audio, etc.)

Due to the nature of digital content, all digital purchases are final and non-refundable once access has been delivered.

If you experience a technical issue (such as not receiving your file or being unable to access it), we will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

3. Events, Sessions, and Future Offerings

For events, workshops, or sessions (including future offerings):

  • Refund eligibility will be stated clearly at the time of purchase

  • Unless otherwise specified, all bookings are non-refundable but may be transferable

If an event is canceled by Hidden House Publishing, you will receive either:

  • A full refund, or

  • The option to transfer to a future offering

4. Subscriptions or Ongoing Offerings (If Applicable)

If we offer subscriptions in the future:

  • You may cancel at any time

  • Payments already processed are non-refundable unless otherwise stated

5. Exceptions

We reserve the right to make exceptions in good faith, particularly in situations involving:

  • Duplicate purchases

  • Technical errors

  • Extenuating circumstances
